a. Plan and assist in the achievement of plans for annual production of sticklac to 30,000 tons in 5 years.
b. Enhance annual exports to at least 10-12 thousand tons in 5 years.
c. Enhance domestic consumption through diversification and to provide balance between export and domestic consumption.
d. Overall exports to reach Rs. 150 Crs in 5 years through higher unit price realisation and additional export.
e. Share of value added items to go upto 40% of the total export in five years against 20-25% at present.
f. Promote use of lac as an identifiable brand and as a natural, environment friendly product. Enhance visibility of lac as a brand rather than being seen as a mere commodity.
g. To strengthen the linkage with the growers at the grass root level for enhancing their income on a steady basis and bring lac as a mainstream product rather than a subsidiary and marginal crop.
